In this episode of the Mattacritic. I will be reviewing and analyzing Star Wars Andor Season 1 Episodes 1 to 3 that is currently on Disney+ done by Lucasfilm. I will go over several topics in this episode. I will give you my rating at the end of this episode. Now on with the review.

In the first episode of this series of Andor, Cassian Andor is looking for his sister on Morallna One. He goes to a bar that is a brothel. This is where men pay women to have sex with them. He asks the woman who was servicing him, I am looking for a girl. She asks him what girl is looking for? He tells this woman he is looking for his sister. She tells him to leave. He asks her, do she give you, her name? She tells him, no one here gives their real name.

He eventually leaves and two men start following him. They ask him, who do you think you are most important. We were looking at this woman first and you had to keep us from having the best woman. They point a gun at him wanting what he had after he told them he has 300 credits. He fights them, and he kills one by accident. He shoots the other man because he did not want him to tell anyone that he killed the other one.

On Ferrix, he was meeting a woman named Bix Caleen that knows how to get him connected to a buyer. He told her, this buyer will want what I have. Cassian told her, this will help me and you. She told him, "I will find a way to get you a meeting”.

There is a man that is working at shipping yard, and he tells Cassian, no more favors. I cannot keep taking any chances that this ends up costing me my job. Cassian tells him, I promise you once I am gone, you will not have to worry about that anymore.

The second episode has Cassian lay low on Ferrix because a man that is obsessed with finding him for killing their two men. This man was told by his superior to forget about this and say it was an accident which was in the first episode. The man that was his superior told him, what you have is going to be tough to solve, if we say it was an accident, then it will look good to the people above us. There is a game that is played and sometimes law enforcement would like to say they have solved a case, then get justice. This man wants to find him, but what the viewer would have been shown, these men approached Cassian and killed one by accident and was forced to kill the other to protect himself. It was not a great situation.

As Cassian told Bix Caleen that he was helping him to get the person who was connecting him to that he was not looking for a fight. They jumped at me, and they forced my hand. Cassian Andor must find a way to get off this planet. He tells her, I need to find a way to lay low. Cassian Andor was asking for several favors, and he needed help.

The second episode ends with Cassian walking trying to evade the Empire and this police officer that is after him and I will bring the picture up right now with Cassian Andor walking.

The third episode shows the flashback with his mother who found him on this planet after the Empire invaded it. This woman is played by Fiona Shaw and her name is Maarva Andor and she was in the second episode of this series. Fiona Shaw was in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, so this is a seasoned actress that has been in a lot of projects. She tells Cassian that you need to be careful. The Empire’s police force is after you killed two of their officers. They have your description as was told in the second episode of this series.

Cassian will have to find a way to get off Ferix and this led him to meet up with Luther Rael played by Stellan Skarsgard. Why does this Stellan sound familiar? Stellan Skarsgard has been the MCU. He has been in 3 Thor movies and in the first two Avengers films. He will come across Cassian Andor later as was shown in the clip that was put on Disney+. Luther asks Cassian, how did you come across this? Cassian tells him, you walk in and act like you belong. He tells Luther, they would never expect anyone like me to walk in there and take it. They are so fat and sassy.

They later get attacked and they must flee. They will have the scene where they are fleeing on the speeder bike, which is one of the pictures that they are using to promote the series.

As not to reveal anymore, nothing more will be revealed here, it does bring the viewer to the climax and will set up Episode 4 of this series.

I will now give you, my rating. I give Star Wars Andor Season 1 Episodes 1 to 3, a 10 out 10. It was fun, inciteful, and hit on several points. It does an excellent job of using flashbacks to show Cassian Andor when he was a young boy. He did not speak Basic; he speaks another language. This will help to fill in the gaps, which was brought up in Rogue One. He will be on the run, and this will lead him to become a rebel. That was shown in Rogue One and expected to happen here in this series.
