Hello everyone, Matthew Hemenway here. In this video, I will be reviewing and analyzing the Book of Boba Fett Season 1 Episode 6 currently on Disney+. I will go over several topics and point out several Easter Eggs in this video. If you have not seen my last video, I thanked you for helping me reach 250 subscribers on this channel and need more help to get 1,000 subscribers. Now on with the review.
The name of this episode is Chapter 6: From the Desert comes a Stranger. The episode starts off with the Marshall encountering the Pikes who were smuggling Spice in Freetown on Tatooine. He blasts them and tells him not to be here in Freetown. The Mandalorian is going to a planet that is not Tatooine. The reason is the planet is too blue and Tatooine has more brownish and yellower look. As the viewer knows that the last episode ended with the Mandalorian talking to Fennec Shand. She told him, we need muscle and he told her he would not charge Boba Fett. He is willing to help him as a friend. He told her that he needs to see a friend. It was going to lead us to Baby Yoda (say real name here).
The Mandalorian gets there and is greeted by R2D2 and later by Ahsoka Tano; Anakin Skywalker’s apprentice was as shown in the clone wars. He is there to give the metal shirt to Baby Yoda (say real name here). He told her that he missed the child. She says she will give him his gift. Luke Skywalker is teaching baby Yoda the ways of the force. He told him that size matters not. Luke told him, he reminded him of his Master in that Yoda said that size matters not. He is wearing the black Jedi suit we wore in Return of Jedi.
The viewer later gets back to Tatooine, and we see the meeting with Boba Fett and Fennec Shand. The Mandalorian tells him that we need to get more muscle. He suggests they get the Marshall who was in 1st episode of the 2nd season of the Mandalorian. The Marshall says it is not our problem, but the Mandalorian tells him it could be. The Pike Syndicate threatens the whole planet of Tatooine. The Marshall tells the Deputy we must be ready as they agree to help the Mandalorian as a friend would.
The viewer later sees the guy that has blue skin that reminds me of Thrawn who has blue skin and red eyes and his name is Cad Bane. He is a bounty hunter that has been in the Bad Batch who was after Omega. The way he wears his clothes is straight out of a Western. The hat, the clothes, and the boots are a dead ringer for a Western. He gets in a shoot-out with the Marshall and the Deputy. As anyone can imagine, he is a fast shooter. If you try to fight with this guy, you will lose more then you win. Fennec Shand would recognize him as she has gone against him when she was hired to protect Omega in the Bad Batch.
It gets the viewer to the climax of the story and Luke tells baby Yoda the way of the Jedi is not easy. If you want to be a Jedi, it never is. You must forgo all attachments not just physical, but emotional ones as well.
I give this episode a 10 out of 10 rating. I thought it was well done and it had the feel of Star Wars. It does an excellent job of having Luke look like Luke like he did in Return of the Jedi. It gives the viewer the emotion and action that you would expect from Star Wars.
