Marvel Studios Moon Knight Season 1 Episode 6 Review and Analysis on Disney+

Blog and video Description: In this video or blog, I will be reviewing and analyzing Moon Knight Season 1 Episode 6 that is currently on Disney+. I will go over several topics such as the multiple personalities and point out several plot points. If you want to know more, then you want to watch this video or read this blog. Thank you.

Hello everyone, Matthew Hemenway is here. In this video or blog, I will be reviewing and analyzing Moon Knight Season 1 Episode 6 that is currently on Disney+. I have enjoyed watching and reviewing this series so far. This has been the most enjoyable and most complex 1 that I have done. It has been 1 that has been very fascinating to watch. It has taken my reviewing to another whole level. The name of this episode is called Gods and Monsters. That is fully accurate to what happens in this episode.

What I have seen is a man that is torn with the pain that was caused by his mother since he was a child after taking his brother in a cave that got him killed. This is an educated guess, but I believe when this happened to Marc, I believe him to be 8 years old when this happened to him. Marc, like what Khonsu said, was fractured, broken from the pain caused by his mother. In the previous episodes, especially in episode 3, Marc asked Steven what did you do? Steven said, Marc, I did not do anything. You should stop listening to that freaking Pigeon. I did not mention this in my Episode 3 Review because I wanted to wait for this episode. Marc has another personality beside Steven. He has a 3rd one. In the comics, this is true. I will not tell you as it is revealed at the end of the episode. What is the name of that 3rd person? If you know, please tell me in the comment section below. Thank you.

Arthur Harrow is looking over Marc Spector and says, if you cannot see what is going on, then I cannot help you. It takes the cold hard true case of death to have you see the truth. This is what I think, Arthur is twisted and evil. As I said in my last review that Arthur wants to unleash Anmit and wants to cleanse the world of evil. Arthur believes she will create a heaven on earth. As Taweret told Marc and Steven is that unbalanced souls are being sent before their time as was mentioned in Episode 5. It is an evil that is horrible.

Layla goes after Arthur Harrow to stop him. Taweret shows up and tells her, you cannot stop Arthur Harrow alone. You need a god to help you. Only a god with an avatar can stop Anmit and Arthur Harrow. Arthur has the staff still and it makes him powerful. Arthur must take Anmit to the Pyramid of Giza to unleash her. It makes sense, look at where the gods cast the spell to imprison Khonsu. It was at the Pyramid of Giza as it was shown in the 3rd episode of this series. Layla tells Taweret that I can stop him on her own.

Arthur Harrow gets to the pyramid of Giza and releases Anmit after he beats the gods and their avatars. She looks like a crocodile in shape and Arthur tells her, I am not worthy. You released me as she tells him. You are the avatar that I am looking for. Arthur accepts being her avatar. Layla gets in the pyramid and releases Khonsu from being imprisoned by putting his statue on the ground and she stomps on it. Khonsu asks her, "Do you want to be my avatar?" No, I do not want to be your avatar as she tells him. She did not want whatever deal that he quoted promised.

Khonsu goes to fight Anmit, but as he told Layla as Taweret told her only a god with an avatar can defeat both Anmit and her avatar Arthur Harrow. Marc and Steven are racing to get through the gate to get back to their body, so they can stop Arthur Harrow and Anmit. Khonsu while fighting Anmit senses Marc and he goes back to him. Marc has the Moon Knight costume coming back on him. It looks awesome. I loved how it turned back to Marc and Steven. Steven always wears a suit with a tie that is white. As I told in my episode 2 review, this is accurate to the comics. In the comics, when he worked with the police, he would wear this suit with the tie that is white.

After making the deal with Khonsu, Marc flies toward Anmit and Arthur Harrow to stop them. Layla accepts being Taweret’s avatar. Believe me, I would rather be hers than Khonsu. Khonsu comes with conditions still. Unlike Anmit, Khonsu does serve true justice. Anmit eliminates free will and the person’s ability to see if they will change. Khonsu only serves his vengeance to those who deserve it. This I will give to him unlike Anmit. I believe in free will and free will comes with letting people choose their own path and give them the chance to change. The suit that Layla wears is awesome, and I do like that it comes with wings. The wings can be used as a shield.

To not spoil it anymore, nothing more will be revealed here.

I give Moon Knight Season 1 Episode 6, a 10 out of 10. I thought it was well done and faithful to the comics. Yes, since I gave every episode a 10 out 10, yes, this series is that good. If they do a 2nd season, like I told you in my Hawkeye Season 1 Episode 6 Review when I reviewed that series, I will watch it. I will leave you with several questions. What happened to Anmit? What is the name of the other personality that exists in Marc Spector? What happens to Arthur Harrow? Please tell me your answers in the comment section below. Thank you.
