Updated: Jan 24
In this video or blog, I will be reviewing and analyzing I Think you should Leave Season 1. If you want to know more, then you want to watch this video or read this blog.
Hello everyone, Matthew Hemenway here. In this video, I will be reviewing and analyzing I Think You Should Leave currently on Netflix. I will go over several topics in this video. This show was created by Tim Robinson.
These are comedy sketches that you would see comedians perform on stage, but he is doing it in a setting in real life. Tim Robinson has them done. He had episodes where a job interview went wrong or legal problems. Life can be humorous, and you never know what will happen. A gift receipt goes wrong, and a person was lying he liked his gift when he did not.
Every episode has different sketches in those episodes. It is not like watching a traditional TV Show. In one episode, the person playing the piano is one of those pianos you would find at a comedy club or the circus. The other was where Scrooge fought monsters from the future. This is where the person coming out looks like the person in a video game.
A person in a hot dog suit crashes in the building, a person comes in claiming, he did not crash in the building. He tells people that they should stop watching on their phones. It probably is true, society seems glued to their phones and not tuned into people. Wouldn’t this be counterintuitive? Not really, I may make videos on YouTube, but I understand the need to talk to people when they are right in front of you.
There was a person at work that was upset that her jokes were not taken seriously. This means she was hoping people would laugh at them. She felt she was getting slighted by them when they said that Christmas came early. She thought that Santa would not come back.
One of the episodes was funny where people were talking about their favorite YouTube videos. Tim Robinson was playing one of the coworkers who could not come up with a video he liked. He made one up as Bozo saying this was Bozo when he was Bozo as they pointed out.
One of the episodes has a high school students arguing with each other. He had an ad about a tug friendly t-shirt that sponsors this show. That is not unusual, when you watch traditional TV, you would see ads that would be on the network. Whether you are watching sports or any show.
How the season ended was with a person who thought she bought the Jim Davis’ house. This was an intervention to try to hope to stop a person from drinking. He was drinking too much booze and they were concerned about it. He tells her, this is not the Jim Davis’ house, it is the person who tried to kill him. This person is a psychopath to say the least.
I give this a 9 out 10. I did like that it is comedy sketches in this season. They tended to be funny. I would not recommend this show for children as the jokes tend to lean to adults.
